Madaripur: Four people were killed and 20 others were injured as a bus collided with a utility vehicle on the Dhaka-Barisal Highway in Boro Bridge area in Rajoir upazila of Madaripur on Friday.

Identities of the injured could not be known immediately.

The Rajoir Police Sub-inspector Ramjan Hossain said the Dhaka-bound bus collided with the human hauler at noon, leaving two dead and 20 others injured.

The injured were taken to Rajoir Health Complex, where two of the injured died.

Ramjan Hossain said the death toll may rise.
