Munshiganj: Four people were killed and 30 others were injured in a head-on collision between two buses at Nimtoli in Sirajdikhan upazila of Munshiganj on Monday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Zayedul Alam, superintendent of Munshiganj Police, said the accident took place at about 1:45 pm when a Mawa-bound bus collided with another bus coming from the opposite direction, leaving four dead on the spot and 30 others injured.

The injured were taken to local hospitals.
