Habiganj: Two people were killed by lightning strike at Kargaon in Nabiganj upazila on Monday.

Local people said a thunderbolt struck Javed, son of Isharul Haque of Sakua village and Krishna Gopal Das, son of Haricharan Das of Durgapur village in the upazila while they were working in a filed at about 3:00pm, leaving them dead on the spot.
