Rajshahi: A young man was killed and 10 others injured as a bus overturned in Muralipur area in Poba upazila of Rajshahi on Saturday night.

The deceased is Rakibul Islam, in his thirties, a resident of Godagari upazila.

Rajpara Police Officer-in-charge Amanullah said the Chapainawabganj bound bus from Rajshahi overturned on the road in the area at about 7:30pm as its driver lost control over the wheel, leaving Rakibul dead on the spot and 10 others injured.

The injured were admitted at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
