Barguna: A carpenter was electrocuted at Tatipara-Natun Bazar under Taltoli upazila of Barguna on Wednesday.

The victim is Nazrul Islam, 55, resident of the same area.

Taltoli police officer-in-charge Kamolesh Chandra Halder said Nazrul was seriously injured as he got electric shock while he was working at a shop of the bazar at about 2:00pm.

He was sent to upazila health complex where on duty doctor declared him dead.
