Pirojpur: Two motorcyclists were killed and two others injured in a collision between two motorcycles on the Najirpur-Pirojpur Road at Patpara in Sadar upazila of Pirojpur on Friday.

The deceased are Quaiyum, in his thirties, and Sumon, in his twenties, of Sadar upazila.

The collision took place between the two motorcycles at about 9:00am, leaving the two dead on the spot and two co-riders injured, said Hasnain Morshed, the Sadar Police officer-in-charge.

The injured were taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital.
