Mymensingh: Three people including a woman were killed in a road accident in Gabtala Bazar area of Tarakanda upazila in Mymensingh on Friday morning.

Two of the deceased were identified as Madina, in her thirties, and Alauddin, around 40 years, reports UNB.

The Tarakanda Police Officer-in-charge (OC) Mazharul Hauqe said a speedy truck collided with a utility vehicle used for public transport on the Mymensingh-Netrakona Road at about 8:00am, leaving three passengers of the three-wheeler dead on the spot and three others injured

The injured were taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, he added.
