Munshiganj: Five shops were gutted in a fire that broke out in Maizpara Bazar area of Shrinagar upazila of Munshiganj on Wednesday night.

According to Fire Service and Civil Devence (FSCD), the fire broke out at about 10:30pm in the area and gutted five shops.

On information, a firefighting unit rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control at about 11:30pm.

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
