Narayanganj: Police recovered the body of a garment worker from a marsh at West Masdair in Fatullah of Sadar upazila on Friday morning, two days after he went missing from the area.

The deceased is Romin, a resident of the area.

Fatullah Model Police sub-inspector Amir Hossain said they have sent the body to 100-bed General Hospital for autopsy.

Family members of the deceased alleged that Romin was killed by Mukta, wife of Raju of Masdair Khanka Mor area.

Romin was in a love affair with Mukta and before his disappearance on Wednesday afternoon he told his mother over phone that he was with Mukta, they added.

Romin’s mother filed a case with Fatullah Model Police Station against Mukta and her husband Raju. Both the accused went into hiding.
