Brahmanbaria: A motorcycle rider was killed as a bus hit his vehicle in Pouratala bus stand area of Sadar upazila in Brahmanbaria on Tuesday morning.

The deceased is Mohammad Rony, in his twenties, a resident of Brahmanbaria’s Sadar upazila.

The Brahmanbaria Sadar police said an Ashuganj-bound local bus hit the motorcycle in Pouratala bus stand area on the Comilla-Sylhet Highway at about 9:30am and left Rony dead on the spot and another injured.

Identity of the injured could not be known immediately.

The Brahmanbaria Sadar police Officer-in-charge (OC) Mainur Rahman said a team of Sadar Model police went to the spot and sent the body to sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.
