2 cattle traders killed in Thakurgaon road crash

Thakurgaon: Two cattle traders were killed and two others injured as a utility vehicle carrying them hit a roadside tree in Amgaon area of Haripur upazila in Thakurgaon on Tuesday morning.
The deceased are Bablu, a resident of Medenisagar Lohagachhi village, and Idris Ali, a resident of Moshaldangi village of the upazila.
Ruhul Kuddus, officer‐in‐charge of Haripur Police Station, said the utility vehicle used for public transport (locally named as Nasimon), carrying several cattle traders bound to Jadurani Hat hit a roadside tree following burst of its a wheel on Haripur‐Jadurani road in the area at about 11:30am, leaving the duo dead on the spot and two others injured.
The injured were taken to Haripur Health Complex.
