At least 13 people were killed in a fatal road accident on Dhaka-Khulna Highway at Nagarkanda in Faridpur on Friday night.

The accident took place around 11:20pm when a bus and a pickup van collided head-on, killing the 13 people on the spot, said Momtaz Uddin, an officer at Faridpur Fire Service, reports UNB.

He said the deceased could not be identified immediately.
