Narayanganj: A garment worker was killed as a private car hit him in Adamjee Export Processing Zone (EPZ) area of Siddhirganj upazila in Narayanganj on Friday morning.

The deceased is Shamim Hossain, 19, a worker of ‘Epic Garments’ of the area and hails from Magura.

Duty officer of Siddhirganj Police Station said that the private car knocked down Shamim while he was standing in the area around 8:30am, leaving him critically injured.

Later, he died on the way to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
