Dhaka: A fire broke out at a garment factory at Kanchpur in Sonargaon upazila on Monday morning.

Probash Chandra, an inspector at Fire Service Headquarters, said the fire broke out on the 11th floor of ‘Sinha Garment’ around 7:09am.

Eight fire‐fighting units rushed in and doused the blaze at about 8:50am. It was not clear what caused the fire.
