Brahmanbaria: Three motorcyclists were killed as a vehicle crashed into a motorbike carrying them at Rampura on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in Bijoynagar upazila of Brahmanbaria on Tuesday night.

The deceased are Sohag, and Manir, both residents of Sarail upazila and Rafiq, a resident of Sohagpur in Ashuganj upazila of the district.

Humayun Kabir, officer-in-charge of Sarail Khatihata Police Station, said the accident took place when the vehicle hit the motorcycle there around 8.00pm, leaving the trio dead on the spot.

Informed, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

A case was filed.
