Comilla: Two workers were killed and another was injured in a landslide while constructing a wall beside a hillock at Tipra Bazar near the Cantonment area of Comilla on Thursday night.

The deceased are Tamim Hossain, resident of Kathalia village of Burichang upazila and Ashraful Islam, from Rangpur.

A big chunk of mud fell on the workers while they were working around 10:00pm, leaving the duo dead on the spot and another injured, said Md Abu Salam Mia, Officer in Charge of Kotwali Model Police Station.

The bodies were sent to a local hospital morgue for autopsy.
