Narayanganj: A rickshaw puller and two passengers were killed when a bus hit their battery-run rickshaw at Siddhirganj in Narayanganj on Wednesday morning.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The Siddhirganj police Sub-inspector (SI) Raqibul Islam quoting local people said a Bekar Paribahan bus rammed into the three-wheeler in front of Safura Khatun Girls’ School at Godmile in Siddhirganj at about 7:30am and left the rickshaw puller and two passengers dead on the spot.

The SI said the bodies were sent to district’s Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
