Sunamganj: The body of a businessman, who had gone missing after a trawler capsized at the Tanguar Haor in Tahirpur upazila of Sunamganj on April 3, was recovered from the haor on Friday morning, raising the confirmed death toll from the accident to four.

The deceased was Hajrat Ali, son of Morom Ali, resident of Ratanpur village of the upazila.

Tahirpur Police Station sub-inspector Tapan Kumar Das said that police recovered the body from Hatirghata area of the haor at about 11:30am on Friday.

Earlier, four people including a minor went missing as a trawler, carrying around 50 people, capsized in the haor on Tuesday morning.

Later, bodies of Fazal Miah, son of Abdur Rashid, resident of Bagli village, and his two-and-a-half-year old son Jubayer were recovered on Wednesday, while the body of Jakir Hossain, son of Nurul Islam of Lakma village, was recovered on Thursday night.
