Tangail: Two truck drivers were killed and another man was injured in a head‐on collision between two trucks on Bangabandhu Bridge link road at Char Bhadra in Kalihati upazila of Tangail on Thursday.

The accident took place around 7:00am when a northern district‐bound truck from Dhaka collided with another one coming from the opposite direction, killing two drivers on the spot and another man injured, said Asabur Rahman, officer‐in‐charge of Bangabandhu Bridge East Police Station.

The injured was taken to Tangail General Hospital.
