Narayanganj: Three jute warehouses in Shitalakha area of Narayanganj caught fire on Sunday.

Deputy assistant director of Narayanganj Fire Service and Civil Defence Mamunur Rashid said the fire broke out at three warehouses of Kumudini Welfare Trust in the morning.

He said four fire-fighting units from Narayanganj and Habiganj were working to douse the flame.

‘It may take time to control the fire,’ he said adding that it was not still clear what caused the fire.

No casualty was reported in this connection, Rashid added.
