Dhaka: Three workers died falling off a 14-storey under-construction building in capital Dhaka's Bailey Road area on Tuesday.

The victims were Md Jahangir Hossain, 25, Md Sayem, 17, and Md Jainul.

The three workers met the accident at about 3:00pm while working on the 9th floor of the multi-storied building, said Jamil, a co-worker of the deceased.

They were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared them dead at about 3:30pm, he said.

The bodies were kept at the DMCH morgue for autopsy.
