Miscreants hurled petrol bomb at a bus and a truck at Lauhajang and Gazaria upazila in Munshiganj early on Monday.

Mawa police post sub-inspector Yunus Ali said miscreants threw petrol bomb at a Gadhuli Paribahan bus near old ferry terminal area at Lauhajang upazila at about 4:00am. No causality was reported in this connection.

In the other incident, a truck driver was injured as he tried to get down from a truck when miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the vehicle in Jamaldi Bus Stand area of Gojaria upazila.

The victim is Harun-or-Rashid.

Police said miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the Laxmipur-bound truck carrying primary textbooks early in the morning.

The driver was injured as he was getting down from the truck, he added.

Police also recovered three petrol bombs from the area.

Munshiganj police superintendent Biplob Bijoy Talukder confirmed the incident.
