Natore: Three people were killed as a truck plunged into a roadside ditch at Kodimchilan of Lalpur upazila in Natore on Natore-Pabna Highway on Thursday.

The identities of the deceased were not available immediately, reports news agency UNB.

Officer-in-charge of Natore Highway Police GM Samsun Nur said the Pabna-bound truck fell into the ditch at about 3:30pm after it overturned on the road, killing the trio on the spot.

Later, firefighters and highway police recovered the bodies.
