Miscreants in disguise of passenger set fire to a passenger in front of Savar Cantonment on Monday night.

Ashulia police officer-in-charge Mostofa Kamal said the miscreants forced a Nabinagar-bound bus to stop as it neared Birshrestha Abdur Rauf gate of cantonment.

Later on, the miscreants let the passengers to come down from the vehicle and set fire to it, said OC.

They left the place immediately after the incident.

The fire fighters doused the blaze.

None was arrested in this connection.
