Juba League man killed in Gaibandha

Gaibandha: Miscreants killed a Juba League activist by slitting his throat at Gobindaganj upazila in Gaibandha on Wednesday night.
The deceased is Abdul Hamid Pradhan Hiru, former assistant general secretary (AGS) of Gabindha College students’ union.
He was also involved with Chhatra League.
Gobindaganj Police officer-in-charge ABM Zahidul Islam said miscreants left Hiru with his throat slit at a mustard field near Shapmara village.
Local people found the body and informed police on Thursday morning.
The body was sent to Gaibandha Sadar Hospital morgue.
