At least three people were burnt as miscreants hurled petrol bomb at a passenger bus in front of Madhumati Tiles Limited in Ulail area on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway on Thursday night.

Seven passengers were injured while getting off the Zaker Enterpriser bus.

Being informed, a fire service unit brought the fire under control but the bus was completely destroyed.

The injured and burn victims were taken to Enam Medical College and Hospital.

Rezaul, Monir, Shujan and Shawon, passengers of that bus, miscreants threw petrol bomb at the Faridpur-bound bus from Dhaka at about 9:00pm.

Savar Model police officer-in-charge Motaleb Mia said the charred bus was taken to the police station.
