Thakurgaon: A total of 99 bicycles were distributed among as many poor girl students of ethnic minority living in the former enclaves and other parts of the district on Monday.

Eco-Social Development Organisation (ESDO), a local NGO, with the financial assistance of Mutual Trust Bank Ltd distributed the bicycles to facilitate the easy travel of the girls to and from their educational institutions.

On the occasion, a function was held at the ESDO headquarters at Govindanagar in the afternoon.
