Dhaka: Banglalink, the second largest mobile operator of the country, and Air Galaxy Limited, a General Sales Agent (GSA) of Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited (PCL), has signed an agreement on Wednesday to facilitate Banglalink Priyojon Customers having chief air service.

According to the agreement, subscribers of Banglalink, a Netherlands based VimpelCom Ltd. subsidy, will enjoy 10% discounts on base fare of Bangkok Airways till 24 March 2016, says a press release received in Dhaka.

The agreement was signed at the Banglalink head office in Dhaka.

Banglalink Priyojon Customers’ needs to send a SMS to a short code (2012) writing “<bangkokairways><space><base fare amount>” to get the discount. This discount will be applicable for Bangkok Airways operated flights for both Business and Economy class.

Mahbubul Alam Bhuiyan, Head of CBM - B2C, Marketing, Banglalink, believes that this new offer will benefit Banglalink Priyojon Customers with their recent travel plans.

Rezaul Amin, Chief Commercial Officer of Air Galaxy Ltd, said they always look to partner with the best of the best, hence this endorsement will benefit both the parties.

Also present at the ceremony were Shamnoon Muheb Chowdhury, Loyalty and Partnership Manager, Marketing, Eiasher Arafat Hossain, Loyalty and Partnership Senior Assistant Manager, Marketing and Khandaker Ashik Iqbal, PR & Communication Sr. Assistant Manager, Marketing from Banglalink. Mr. Kuntal Aulad, Deputy Sales Manager and Fahmi Faruque, Senior Executive (Sales) were also present at that occasion.
