Setsuyo Astec Corporation inaugurates office in Dhaka

Setsuyo Astec Corporation, a 100%-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, officially launched their representative office in Dhaka with a gala launching event on 27 November at a Dhaka city hotel.

The event included welcome remarks by the President and CEO of Setsuyo Astec Corporation Motokazu Inaba. The country manager of Bangladesh of Setsuyo Astec Corporation Imagawa Yusuke was also present at the event. Among the other special guests high officials from BIDA, Japan Embassy, JICA, JETRO, and JBCCI were present at the event. 

In light of the business environment in Bangladesh, Setsuyo Astec Corporation has set up the Dhaka representative office in Bangladesh as their 11th overseas office. This was done to provide detailed customer support and even higher levels of service by providing support to local sales agencies in addition to implementing timely market surveys and collecting information within the nation. They intend to contribute to industrial growth in Bangladesh from now on while making the best possible use of the experience and know- how they have cultivated in Asian markets over the course of 50 years.
