PGCB to construct four grid sub-stations
Dhaka: Power Grid Company of Bangladesh has planned to construct four more grid sub-stations at Bhaluka, Mymensingh, Barearhat (Mirsarai) and Ramganj to strengthen the national power grid.
PGCB on Tuesday signed agreement with joint consortium of Energypac Engineering Limited and Daewoo of Korea for the construction of all four 132/33KV stations within the next two years, said a release.
PGCB secretary Ashraf Hossain and SM Aminul Islam of consortium of Energypac Engineering Limited and Daewoo signed the agreement on their respective side.
The sub-stations will be constructed at a cost of Tk 106.30 crore under PGCB’s National Power Transmission Network Development Project. JICA is providing fund for the implementation of the project.
