Banglalink to observe ‘Compliance week’ from 3-7 April
Banglalink, the second largest Telecom operator in Bangladesh, has declared the first week of April 2016 as the Compliance awareness week for the organisation.
‘Banglalink believes that this initiative will set an example for others in the industry to follow’, says a press release.
‘Compliance, being one of the key drivers for a sustainable business growth in digital space, Banglalink believes the awareness and practice of ‘compliance’needs to start from within the company and eventually will spread out to all the avenues a digital companyhas to work including its business partners.’
‘Banglalink aims to enrich its employee’s capabilities through running awareness of these initiatives.’
‘Banglalink’s Code of Conduct (CoC) sets out Banglalink’s business principlestogether with guidance to explain how they apply in practice to every Banglalink employee.In the days to come, Banglalink will also drive and ensure compliance awareness and practices to all of its business partners starting from vendors, suppliers, product sellers and resellers etc.’
Banglalink’s managing director and CEO Erik Aas said that to be more Agile and Competitive in the market, one has to be more digitalised and well oriented on compliance risks.
