Dhaka: United Commercial Bank Limited was awarded with Brand Excellence award in Banking and Financial Services category in the Golden Globe Tigers' Award 2015 held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia recently.

Muhammed Ali, Managing Director of UCB received the award, said a press release on Thursday.   

Mirza Mahmud Rafiqur Rahman, Additional Managing Director of UCB was also present.

Criteria for choosing the winners included the organization's continuing commitment to excellence, developing best practices and innovative strategies. The award was given for excellence and leadership in branding and marketing. Professional of different sectors like FMCG, banking & financial services, media, business etc were present at the award giving ceremony.

United Commercial Bank Limited has also been awarded with best ‘Emerging market bank' and ‘CEO of the year' award along with ‘Brand Excellence' award as recognition to superior financial service.
