Dhaka: Bangladesh Bank on Thursday announced bank holiday for 11 September and working day on 24 September.

In a circular, the central bank said the government by its executive power has declared 11 September 11 as public holiday.

In this situation, all the banks and financial institutions will remain closed on September 11 and remain open on 24 September instead.
