Dhaka: Export and import activities between Bangladesh and India through three land ports—Bhomra in Satkhira, Hili in Dinajpur, and Benapole in Jessore—will remain suspended until 16 September on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

Trade through Bhomra and Hili land ports was halted on Sunday. However, the activities through Benapole remained snapped from Thursday last, reports UNB.

The export-import activities through the three ports will resume on 17 September.

However, the immigration section at the ports will remain open as usual to facilitate the movement of passengers with valid documents.
