Dhaka: Visitors of the Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) will able to purchase DITF tickets online avoiding long lines and hassle.

Shohoz.com, an online based ticketing platform for bus and launch tickets, came up with the facilities for the first time.

The ticket fee is Tk 30 for adults and Tk 20 for children below nine years old. The online ticket processing fee is Tk 2 for per ticket.

People buying DITF tickets from Shohoz.com will have the opportunity to win a smart phone daily and a LED television at end of the fair through raffle draw, said a press release on Sunday.

Shohoz.com Managing Director Maliha M Quadir said the internet based platform has been contributing greatly in the convenience of consumers by easing the ticket purchasing procedure in a matter of minutes; which otherwise would have cost more money and time if people would have bought tickets directly from counters.

Maliha said they are very hopeful about the service as it will encourage people to visit the largest trade fair in the country with a hassle-free ticketing withShohoz.com.

The visitors can easily book the tickets from the Event tab of Shohoz Dotcom (www.shohoz.com/events). Upon confirmation of payment after their booking is made, a PDF version of the e-ticket will emailed to the users email address.

Users will be able to pay for the tickets through bkash or Debit/Credit Card payment. At the gate reserved for Shohoz.com, users will only have to show the printed or PDF copy of the e-ticket.
