bKash offers up to 20pc cash back on shopping during Ramdan

Dhaka: bKash Limited, one of the largest mobile financial service providers in Bangladesh, offers up to 20 per cent cash back to its customers on shopping at select outlets on the occasion of Ramadan and Eid-ul- Fitre.

Once the payment is made though bKash, the customer will receive the cash back amount instantly in his or her bKash account.

Started from 01 June, the offer will be available at 1,132 outlets of 59 lifestyle brands, super store shops and e-commerce sites across the country. The offer remains valid till the Eid-ul-Fitre day.

In line with sprit of Ramadan, bKash gives this special offer to the customers to make them happy and feel rewarded.

There is no additional charge for bKash payment. In order to make payments via bKash, the customer has  to   dial *247# to access the bKash menu,  select ‘3’ for the ‘Payment ’ option and then follow the simple interactive steps to avail the payment service.

Opening of bKash account is also absolutely free of cost. Any adult individual having a valid national ID card/passport or driving licence can open a bKash account from bKash’s more than 165,000 agent points across the country.

Launched in 2011, bKash, a joint venture of BRAC Bank, US based Money in Motion, World Bank’s private sector investment arm IFC and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, offers broad range of mobile financial services to the common people of Bangladesh.
