Thai Ambassador to Bangladesh H.E. Makawadee Sumitmore visited the office of Siam City Cement (Bangladesh) Limited as a chief guest to celebrate Pohela Falgun with the employees of Siam City Cement.

Siam City Cement is a subsidiary company of Siam City Cement Public Company Limited of Thailand which sell and market cement under the brand name INSEE.

During the visit, the ambassador and the delegates of Royal Thai Embassy held a meeting with Mahmud Hasan, Chief Executive Officer of Siam City Cement (Bangladesh) Limited. Members of the Executive Committee- Kanthasat Boontem, Mohammad Ali Bostame and Md. Nasir- Ul Alam were also present at the meeting.

The Thai ambassador praised Siam City Cement for quick roll out of its products across Bangladesh within short period time and emphasized on developing the relationship between Thailand and Bangladesh.

Siam City Cement (Bangladesh) Limited started its journey 2016 in Bangladesh by acquiring CEMEX Cement (Bangladesh) Limited. The company is the sole Thai manufacturing company in Bangladesh.
