2-day Korean film festival in Dhaka from 13 Nov

Dhaka: A two-day ‘Korean Film Festival 2015’ will begin in Dhaka on 13 November.
The Korean Embassy in Dhaka and the Korea Foundation will host the festival at National Museum.
Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Gowher Rizvi will inaugurate the festival as the chief guest.
This year, four popular Korean films have been chosen and specially, for the first time, both Bengali and English subtitles will be provided for all films in order to help foreign as well as Bengali audience enjoy Korean films, , said the Embassy in a press release on Monday.
Besides the screening of films, various events will be available for the visitors to enjoy the Korean culture. There will be a photography exhibition of Korean things and an experience of Hanbok (traditional Korean Clothes).
Over the years, Korean film has been recognized both internally and externally. Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), the first international film festival in Korea, became obviously the top film festival in Asia, and was instrumental in helping Korean cinema build an international reputation.
The festival will open with the screening of ‘Forever the Moment (2008)’, produced by acclaimed director Yim Soon-rye.
