The makers of Bahubali: The Beginning — the ‘biggest hit’ in the history of Indian cinema — are now making the sequel of the film. If the media reports are to be believed, the sequel will hit the screens during Christmas 2016.

The shooting of the sequel — Bahubali: The Conclusion — was to start in September, but it was pushed to December due to pre-production, reported Box Office Capsule.

Reportedly, 30% of the sequel has already been shot and the rest of the shoot will be completed from December to July.

A source close to the project said, ‘Since ‘Bahubali Returns’ was planned simultaneously with the first Bahubali film, much of the war scenes and some other key sequences have already been shot. Now about 70 per cent of the film remains to be shot with Anushka Shetty, Prabhas and Sathyaraj leading the cast this time.’
