Site to slap Aamir turns into kiss Aamir

The controversy surrounding Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan for his statement on ‘intolerance’ reached unprecedentedly high proportions.
To add to some extreme protests, Shiv Sena also announced Rs 1 lakh to anyone who slaps Aamir Khan.
Adding fuel to the fire, a couple of students from the Miami Ad School created a website where you could virtually slap Aamir. The site was named ‘Slapaamir.com’. On the website, a hand popped out which allowed users to slap an image of the actor. Plus, his face underwent changes after every slap, reports Times of India.
The makers of the site had also added a disclaimer saying, ‘Slapaamir.com is for humour and creative purposes only and does not represent any political views of the people involved. Please be tolerant of our humor.’
However, following heavy criticism on the social media, the site was redirected to kissaamir.com, reports Indian media.
You can now virtually kiss Aamir Khan on the website which results in the change of his face with every kiss. It now displays the disclaimer, ‘kissaamir.com is for love and fun purposes only and represents kindness and kisses only. Please spread the tolerance of our love only.’
