Police said ramp model Risila Binte Wazer allegedly committed suicide on Monday at her residence at Gulshan area of Dhaka city.

Gulshan Police Station Inspector (investigation) Md. Salauddin Miah said, the duty doctor at United Hospital declared Risila dead after her relatives took her to the hospital.

Primarily it is assumed Risila had committed suicide. But, motifs behind the suicide are yet to be found, the officer added.    

United Hospital Public Relations Officer Sazzadur Rahman Shuvo said, Risila was brought to the hospital at about 3:00pm on Monday. The dead body was at the hospital.

Besides walking the ramps, Risila acted in a few television dramas and modelled in several TVCs too.
