Mumbai:  Director Neeraj Pandey’s upcoming film ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’, starring Sushant Singh Rajput as India’s World Cup-winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, will hit the screens on 2 September, 2016.

Sushant took to Twitter to announce the release date of the film.

Produced by Fox Star Studios and Inspired Entertainment, ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’, which has been shot extensively in Ranchi also features veteran actor Anupam Kher, who will be seen playing Dhoni’s father Pan singh.

One-film-old actress Kiara Advani will be portraying Dhoni’s wife Sakshi.
