Parineeti Chopra gets trolled for cuddling Koala

Bollywood diva Parineeti Chopra has become the latest victim of trolling for posting a photo on Instagram with a koala in Australia. Some netizens have poked fun at where the koala’s paw was placed and posted nasty comments.
Trolls also made fun of how Parineeti and the koala, apparently, look similar in the picture, reports mid-day.com.
Parineeti Chopra, who has been appointed as the first Indian woman Ambassador in ‘Friend of Australia’ (FOA) advocacy panel by Tourism Australia, shared a picture of her cuddling a koala in Queensland. Parineeti captioned the photo, ‘This little furball... is just what I needed to kickstart my holiday in Brisbane, never miss a Koala cuddle @lonepinekoala @visitbrisbane @Queensland #thisisqueensland @australia #SeeAustralia (sic)’.
Parineeti was body shamed for losing too much weight and looking like the koala itself. People also trolled the picture for the position of the koala, reports timesnownews.com.
‘Ma’am pahle aap jyada khoobsurat thi’ (you were more beautiful before), ‘Very luck koala, at least he is touching your bust’, ‘Aap ki face bhi isi ke jaisa deikh raha hai... dieting band kar di jiye,’ (your face looks like koala...stop dieting) were some of the reactions.
Australia has roped in Parineeti Chopra to be its first Indian woman Ambassador to encourage Indians to visit the country.
She was presented the Friend of Australia (FOA) recognition by Australian Consul General Tony Huber for her contribution to promoting Australia recently, according to Tourism Australia (TA) statement.
