Dhaka: Popular Bangla film actor Monowar Hossain Dipjol will fly for Singapore on Wednesday afternoon as he is critically ill.

He was taken to Labaid Hospital in Dhaka’s Panthapath area after falling ill on Tuesday afternoon.

However, attending physicians of the hospital advised his family to take him abroad for better treatment.

While talking to NTV Online, Film Director Montazur Rahman Akbar confirmed the news.

‘An air ambulance is set to carry Dipjol. He will be shifted to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. We are taking preparation in this connection,’ said Akbar.

He also requested all to pray for Dipjol’s fast recovery.
