Bangladesh Film Festival: 3 films to be screened Saturday

Dhaka: Three films will be screened on Saturday at the National Art Plaza of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) in the capital as part of the ongoing 16-day 'Bangladesh Film Festival 2017'.
Abdus Samad's drama film 'Shurjogrohon', Amjad Hossain's National Film Award-winning film 'Golapi Ekhon Traine', and Abu Shahed Emon's internationally acclaimed film 'Jalaler Golpo'(Jalal's Story) will be screened at 3:00pm, 5:15pm and 7:30pm respectively at the same venue of BSA as well as 63 District Shilpakala Academies.
Produced in 1976, 'Shurjogrohon' is a drama film written and directed by Abdus Samad while 'Golapi Ekhon Train-e' is a story of a girl named Golapi starring by Bobita, Tarana Halim, Anwar Hossain, ATM Shamsuzzaman, Rosy Samad and others.
On the other hand, internationally-acclaimed multi-award-winning film 'Jalaler Golpo' is directed by Abu Shahed Emon and produced by Faridur Reza Sagar while it has been being screened at over 30 international film festivals and has received immense praise as a Bangladeshi film.
Mosharraf Karim, Tauquir Ahmed, Mousumi Hamid, Arafat Rahman and Mohammad Emon and others acted in the film.
