Mumbai: Bollywood celebs are not just about the glitz and glamour, they often support causes close to their heart and do their bit for the society.

While some stand up against issues like water wastage or making India clean, many have come out in support of our four-legged friends.

From Alia Bhatt to Daisy Shah, these celebrities showed their love for animals at the recently held Adoptathon 2017 in Bandra, Mumbai in India.  

Animals, especially those that need a home were present at the event with volunteers. People who attended this cause could take a look at them and adopt any pet they liked.

Alia who has pet cats, spoke about the need for providing a home to these furry friends and many celebs obliged. Others like Soha and Kunal petted dogs and puppies.
