‘Mr Bean’ turns 63!

Happy birthday to English actor, comedian and screenwriter, Rowan Sebastian Atkinson.
Best known as ‘Mr Bean’, Rowan’s rise to fame began when he starred in BBC’s sketch comedy show Not the Nine O’Clock News between 1979 and 1982, reports the UNB.
In 1981, he received a BAFTA for Best Entertainment Performance and also for his role in The Secret Policeman’s Ball from 1979.
Some of the other productions he’s been part of iinclude the James Bond movie – Never Say Never Again (1983) and he voiced Zazu in The Lion King (1994).
Rowan was listed as one of the ’50 Funniest Actors in Britain’ by The Observer newspaper.
He then went on to bigger things, becoming ‘Mr Bean’, the star of two movies, ‘Bean’ and ‘Mr Bean’s Holiday’.
In 2003, he starred in ‘Johnny English’ and in ‘Johnny English Reborn’ in 2011. Fans can now look forward to a third installment, said to be released this year.
In 1990, Rowan married Sunetra Sastry and had two children, Ben and Lily. The couple separated in 2014 and divorced in November 2015.
He is currently in a relationship with Louise Ford who is pregnant with his child.
