Sonam Kapoor’s wedding was always expected to be a grand affair and judging by the pictures coming our way, it definitely is.

The actor is celebrating her wedding sangeet and mehendi with the biggest Bollywood stars, her family and friends.

Sonam’s cousins and Sridevi’s daughters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor were among the best dressed celebrities at the event. The sisters were spotted holding each others’ hands in their angelic white dresses, reports the Hindustan Times.

Sonam’s other cousins, Shanaya Pandey and Anshula Kapoor were also spotted at the venue at Banda Kurla Complex in Mumbai.

Sonam also clicked pictures with her siblings, Rhea and Harshvardhan.

Sonam will tie the knot with Anand Ahuja on May 8, Tuesday. The festivities began with the bride-to-be and family members holding a mehendi session on Sunday night. Several pictures and videos from the ceremony have been shared online and went viral instantly.

A video of Anil Kapoor and wife Sunita dancing to some peppy tracks is being actively shared, as is the dance of Sonam and Anand. Anil Kapoor danced to the beats of Subah Hone Na De with the guests while Sunita shook her legs to Hawa Hawa song, from Anil and Arjun Kapoor’s Mubarakan.

While the Sunday ceremony was primarily for the Kapoor family, their Bollywood friends are expected to join in the fun.
