Dhaka: The ‘Clean Dhaka Concert' which was scheduled to be held in Dhaka city on Friday has been postponed.

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) was due to organise the event, featuring Bollywood Queen Kareena Kapoor and actor Ananta Jalil, at Bangabandhu National Stadium.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) deputy commissioner (media) Maruf Hossain Sorder told United News of Bangladesh on Thursday night that the organisers were requested not to go with the event on Friday as there was lack of preparations and coordination to ogranise the concert.

He also said they requested them to arrange the concert with necessary preparations.

Indian playback singers Kanika Kapoor and Javed Ali were also scheduled to perform in the concert.
