For anyone who has seen Race 3, the makers hint at a sequel towards the end of the film. And it seems that would be definitely happening some time soon.

After the success story of Race 3 at the box office, producer Ramesh Taurani is keen to take the franchise forward with Race 3.

The action thriller, which released this Eid, has crossed the Rs 120-crore mark within four days, thus making it one of the biggest grossers of 2018 so far. And this very success at the box office has left Salman and Ramesh more than pleased.

While there were reports that Salman will work on Race 4 before Dabangg 3, Taurani rubbished the rumours saying that they need time to work on the script and finalise the star cast.

However, Taurani confirmed to an entertainment website that Race 4 is definitely on the cards, and will have Salman Khan as the lead, reports the India Today.

‘Race 4 zarur banegi. Par pehle script banegi, phir decide hoga. Nothing is decided,’ he told the portal.

When asked if Salman will be a part of Race 4, Taurani added, ‘Zarur hongeSalman Khan nahi honge to kaise hoga.’

Despite bad reviews, Salman's Race 3 is taking the box office by storm. The multi-starrer, which crossed the Rs 100-crore mark in its opening weekend, is busy minting money at the box office.

The film, which also stars Anil Kapoor, Daisy Shah, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez and Saqib Saleem, hit the screens on June 15.
